June 2014 - 'Home Exercises for Working your Back'

It can be  hard to find back exercises to do at home, here are two videos of some good back exercises that can be done just using a pair of dumbbells, 'Db Bent Over Row' & 'Renegade Row'.
Bent Over Row Tips:
- Flat back
- Pressure on heels
- Torso horizontal to floor as hamstring flexibility allows
- Squeeze shoulder blades at top of rep
- Don't flex or hyper-extend your lumbar spine (no rounding/overarching lower back)

Renegade Row Tips:
- Feet fairly wide to balance
- Pull elbow back past body rowing dumbbell just underneath chest
- Keep shoulder horizontally level throughout
- Keep hips facing floor and try not to twist them when pulling
- Abs maintain tension avoiding dropping hips down
